Hi, I’m Dr. Shannon Trosper Schorey
I’m a scholar, writer, and researcher in the tech industry. I write about the intersections of technology, culture, and Western intellectual and religious history.
I hold a Ph.D. in Religion and Culture from UNC-Chapel Hill. My doctoral research focused on the critical study of discourses of religion and secularism within modernity, especially as they are evoked by technological communities.
At Red Hat I work in corporate messaging research and development, focusing on emerging and cloud technologies.
